TrustyTab is a lightweight Chrome extension designed to help users make smarter shopping decisions on Amazon by displaying recent review insights and listing freshness. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.
TrustyTab does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information.
We do not access:
Your name, email address, or identity
Your browsing history beyond Amazon product pages
Your payment information or Amazon account details
TrustyTab may use the following Chrome extension APIs for core functionality:
activeTab and host permissions: To display review insights only on Amazon product pages.
scripting: To inject content into the page and show the review overlay.
storage: To remember user preferences, such as whether notifications are enabled.
notifications: To display optional curated offers (can be turned off at any time).
alarms: To schedule the timing of optional notifications, such as once per day.
None of this usage involves collecting or sending personal data to any server.
TrustyTab may display optional sponsored offers or promotions. These are clearly marked and may link to affiliate pages. Clicking on these offers is entirely optional. If you choose to click, you will be taken to third-party sites governed by their own privacy policies.
TrustyTab operates entirely in your browser. We do not use remote servers or external databases. All functionality happens locally on your device.
You can disable notifications at any time via the extension’s settings.
You can remove the extension at any time through your browser’s extension manager.
We may update this policy in the future to reflect new features or regulatory requirements. Changes will be posted here, and the “Effective Date” will be updated.
